What is an ISDN Connection?
An ISDN connection allows you to use the internet and telephone at the same time.
With normal dialup your phone line is busy when you are online. However ISDN connections have two separate 'channels'.
Each channel works slightly faster than a normal dial up modem. You can use one for your internet connection whilst using the other for your phone/fax.
When not using your phone the channels are combined and you double your connection speed.
An ISDN connection allows you to never miss phone calls or worry about interrupting downloads or emails because you need to use the phone. Not only that, it is over twice as fast as dialup.
Not every phone number can be converted to ISDN - please advise us of the number you wish to be converted and we will check for you.
